Larry Deans is President of Golden LivingCenters. He is responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the company’s skilled nursing facilities and assisted living facilities. He also is responsible for the key functions that are necessary to support the LivingCenters and keep their operations running smoothly, including Sales and Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources. Prior to assuming his current position in 2008, Mr. Deans was Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer for Golden Living.

Before joining Golden Living, Mr. Deans was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for US Oncology (USON) where he was responsible for all aspects of USON’s human resources management and administration, and for ensuring that the human resources programs were closely aligned with and supported the company’s business strategy.

Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Beverly Enterprises. Under his guidance, Beverly significantly upgraded and strengthened the human resources area in terms of systems, procedures and staff. Previously, he held senior human resources positions at Jones Lang LaSalle, Alliant Foodservice, Knoll Pharmaceuticals, Pharmacia Diagnostics, Inc. and Baxter Healthcare Corporation.

Mr. Deans is recognized for his talent in developing people, having introduced and implemented innovative programs designed to identify and cultivate future company leaders at his previous employers.

Mr. Deans earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology from Northern Illinois University.
